Local Rednecks Journey to Tennessee

Damon, Ralph, Steve and James went to the Bristol racetrack in Tennesse this weekend. It is one of the most anticipated races in the Nascar schedule. The stadium holds about 160,000 people. Damon said it was AMAZING! The sound of engines roaring on the track was incomparable.
While in the deep south, Damon and the crew experienced some local favorite restaurants. Ralph really wanted White Castle which was the 1st stop. Damon was not all that impressed. They also went to The Wafflehouse. I don't think the dentist gets much business in Tennessee, as Damon mentioned a number of people with very few teeth!
Finally, I added a photo of Damon drinking his favorite beer, Miller High Life- it is the champagne of beers!
Damon is already excited of the prospect of going back next year!

The Encino Farmer's Market

Olivia and I ventured out to the Encino Farmer's Market today. It was a nice morning (Daddy is in Tennessee for a Nascar event). We shopped around for some beautiful produce and Olivia had a hot dog! After we were done shopping, Olivia played in the massive bouncer. It was amazing! It had a climbing wall attached to it with a big slide. Olivia climbed her way to the top and slid down! She getting to be such a big girl.

Olivia's 3rd Birthday Party!

Olivia had her 3rd birthday party on Saturday, August 18th. It was a blast! We invited all of our friends to join in the festivities. There was a special guest at the party....Ariel...the little mermaid. She joined us from under the sea . (She walked all the way from the beach...and boy were her legs tired). Ariel had a magic show, made animal balloons, and bounced in the bouncer with all the children. She was a great addition to the party. We all had birthday cake and played until it was time to go. It was a success!
