Olivia at her friend Matthew's 2nd birthday party! (june '06) Wow...time flies by......

I just wanted to give a quick update .............We are all doing quite well. It has been wonderful having another Franzia around. Sofia is a sweet girl and we are so luck she is ours.


Olivia is doing well as a big sister. She is excited to see Sofia when she returns home from school. So far.....so good.

I am a bit sleepy, but doing well.

DAY 7

Olivia as Sleeping Beauty

So, it is day 7.... and it is offical that I have entered into the sleep deprived induced "twilight zone". This is a place where time has no relevance and poop ,pee and feeding is the only measurement of time.

Sofia is doing well. She is very relaxed-so much so that wonder if she is ok. When Olivia was born I think that I was so nervous that it seemed like she was always awake- it was just me.

Olivia is doing well. She does "highjack" (as my father in law put it) Sofia's blankets and toys. She says that they are her "favorite " toys. I have to remind her that they are Sofia's toys and she may "share " them.

Sofia Inez Franzia

Sofia Inez Franzia was born February 16, 2008 at 7:01 p.m. She was 7 pounds .01 oz. and 20 inches long.

Damon, Olivia and I are thrilled to have Sofia join us in our family....of 4!

Happy Valentine's Day

Greetings! Happy Valentine's Day from the Franzia Family. Olivia is having her first Valentine exchange at school today! The class will exchange cards and candy. YUM!

Papa and Nonna sent Olivia a speical package in the mail for this special day. Olivia wore her new P.J.'s last night and she is sporting her stylist heart outfit to school today. Thank you Papa and Nonna for thinking of me.

Musicares Event

Damon and I went out on the town on Friday night! We were lucky to attend a Grammy Event honoring Aretha Franklin. It was an amazing experience. There was a silent auction, dinner and entertainment; including Aretha Franklin herself! One of the songs she sang was "Chain of Fools". Here are some photos.......................

Olivia appears to have a flair for the dramatic! We watched the Grammys on Sunday and Olivia was fascinated by the musical acts. On commercial breaks she danced and sung on her own stage-the fireplace.

Superbowl Sunday

It was Superbowl XLII on Sunday, the Patriots vs. the Giants. Beth and Victor hosted a "Super" party with lots of food & fun. Olivia wore her Eli Manning jersey ...it was so cute! Tom Petty was the halftime show...it was at this point that I realized that I am really getting old...and so is Tom. High definition television is not our friend. As you all know, the Giants won! I have so many hormones running through my body; I was so happy I thought I would cry. Who knew I liked the Giants SO much? I think the highlight of the day were the Mrs. Field's cookies that Cynthia brought. So good.

Hi everyone! I am sorry that it has been so long since my last post. I have been exhausted lately . We are getting excited for the baby to arrive. She is due March 2nd and it seems like it could be tomorrow. I still have so much preparation to do; so I am a bit overwhelmed.

Olivia has been great. She is so excited for "her" baby to come. Damon has been busy with work. So here are some photos of the last month or so.
